About the event
Beethoven's
Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68, known asthe "Pastoral" (orPastoralein German), was completed in 1808. It is a programmatic symphony, meaning it tells a story or paints an aural picture, in this case, depicting scenes of country life. A profound nature lover, Beethoven indicated that the work was "more the expression of feeling than painting," aiming to convey emotion rather than a literal depiction.
What's not to like as a musician and all who love the nature! It's going to be fun!
