About the event
We welcome you wonderful musicians, professional and amateur, young and old to play together grade 5 and above. You will be lead by Tori Rushton, a professional Cellist and Double Bass Player as well as an established conductor who studied conducting at The Royal Northern College of Music.
Symphony in a Day is on Saturday 4th October 2025 located at St Peter's Church in Inkberrow from 10am to 6pm.
It follows a Symphony in a Day format; whereby musicians will explore Tchaikovsky's Symphony no 5 blasting through the movements stopping for lunch, continue rehearsal in the afternoon with a run through before the doors open to the public and to play the piece in its entirety in an informal concert for friends, family and anyone interested in hearing your work!!.
The project is aimed at young fledgling talents, those who would like to experience playing in an orchestra, those professionals…
